The Folk-Crafts Workshop is the Cahul district's living craft centre — a space in Manta village run by master craftswoman Valentina Grigoriță, one of the most recognized keepers of southern Moldovan crafts. The large hall has long black tables with burgundy-red chairs where groups (tourists, schools, families) learn traditional carpet weaving, blouse embroidery, Easter-egg painting, corn-husk-doll making. On the walls — folk costumes with embroidered blouses and skirts, vintage photos of Valentina in costume, students' work. The schedule is flexible — ask for 1–3-hour workshops in advance, each including master and materials. An authentic place without tourist polish — the best entry point into Moldovan folk craft.
