Chernomorka brings the Russian-Ukrainian "fishmonger-restaurant" concept to Chișinău — a refrigerated case full of fresh fish on ice (Danube catfish, zander, perch, Danube herring, Black Sea turbot, krevetki) which you choose by weight and have prepared as you wish: grilled, steamed, fried, salt-baked, ceviche or tartare. House specialities draw from maritime Ukrainian cuisine: ucha (traditional fish soup with vodka), zaliv pomidori, vinegar-marinated herring with red onion, krevetki à la nage with garlic and parsley. Informal nautical interior (nets, anchors, wood tables), fair price (by weight), relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere. Perfect for a fish dinner without fuss.
