Florica Dessert is the reliable neighbourhood pastry shop — a family concept on Independenței street, with display cases full of Moldovan-Romanian traditional pastries that remind you of grandmother: Mascotă cake (walnuts, candied fruit, whipped cream), Doboș (thin biscuit layers, chocolate cream, caramel), Cremșnit (vanilla custard between flaky pastry with powdered sugar), Walnut Snow White, Savarines with syrup and whipped cream, butter-cream pastries, fresh sugar doughnuts. Plus "modern" pastries: cheesecakes, éclairs, fruit tarts. Custom cakes for anniversaries, baptisms, weddings. The favourite spot of Botanica residents for authentic traditional desserts, unpretentious, at accessible prices. Take-away or on-site at 4 small tables.
