La Paris Bastilia is one of the best-known motel-restaurant complexes on the European E58 route (Brest-Chișinău-Odesa), at km 654 near Edineț — French-themed concept (entrance reproduces a small Bastille, miniature Eiffel Tower in inner courtyard) opened in 2003 as a break destination for long-haul drivers and travelling families. Extensive complex: 20 motel rooms (periodically renovated, simple functional furniture, private baths), restaurant with European-Moldovan menu (★4.2 from 730 reviews), lounge bar, small outdoor pool in summer, football pitch, TIR parking (50 truck spots). Kitchen specialty: charcoal steaks, pasta, salads, plus zeamă and traditional sarmale. Popular for overnight truck parking and Romanian travellers. Less boutique than Bomond, but excellent if just for car overnight.

“We were here for pool Pool was smaller than it looks on the pictures, was overcrowded with no umbrellas available and I would say quite dirty for the money we had to pay Bar that offers food is extremely slow and heck have no idea who ordered and what a big mess Well people have no other options around thus come here to get away. Not sure about restaurant so feedback only pool …”
“This is too expensive for a room with common toilet and shower on the floor (400 mdl for single bed, without wardrobe - just bed and small table). And you can hear every single noise from corridor - someone walking, someone going upstairs or downstairs, someone talking and someone coughing. Very hard to have rest and sleep.”
