Mioara Sudului is a sheep farm organized as a small demonstration site in Slobozia Mare, run by an association of Bulgarian and Moldovan shepherds. They have their own flock and produce fresh caș, telemea brine cheese, smoked cașcaval, and sheep-milk butter. Standard visit: farm tour, demonstration of how milk is curdled, tasting of 4 cheeses with country bread. Operates May through the first snow; slots are rare — book at least 3 days ahead.
