The CCI-Moldova estate in the Budești forest has two classic log cabins, built from round timber on stone foundations, set in a small clearing under tall trees. Between them are a double swing on a wooden frame, a circular fire pit and picnic tables with green benches. The hosts run grill meals with farm meat (mititei, marinated pork skewers, roasted vegetables), and morning breakfast brings cheese omelets and warm placinte. The atmosphere is quiet under the canopy, with birdsong in the morning. The place is often used for corporate retreats, but it also works for a family wanting a night in the forest.
