Hiking trails from the gate are short (5-10 minutes into the forest), but the complex is an excellent base for longer walks into the Codru Nature Reserve.

“Stayed for 2 nights with kids in July. Great location near the forest. Although there's only a 5-minute hiking trail into the forest, I wish there was a longer, nicer trail as it's a beautiful area. The marketing pictures of the place are misleading. The outdoor fire pit and the beautiful terrace with lights are available for an extra cost only; and it's not cheap—a fire cost…”
