The story

Fautor is a boutique winery in Tigheci village (Leova), set on the slopes of the Tigheci woodlands. Specialty: rare Moldovan varieties (Fetească Neagră, Rara Neagră, Viorica) and Cabernet/Merlot blends. Multiple Decanter and Berliner Wein Trophy medals. Standard visit: vineyard tour + underground cellar (200+ barrels) + tasting of 4-6 labels with charcuterie. 2.5h drive from Chișinău, but the Codrii Tigheciului landscape makes every km worth it.
