The Castravet family has been making wine for four generations on the Ialoveni hills — the 6-room pension opens directly onto the 12-ha vineyard (Fetească Albă, Fetească Neagră, Rara Neagră, Cabernet). Stays include a guided cellar tasting (5 wines paired with local cheese, brânză pies and homemade charcuterie), homemade breakfast (omelette with garden vegetables, quince jam, fresh cheese) and access to a terrace overlooking the vineyard to the Codru forest. Hosts offer vineyard tours, winemaking demonstrations (September-October), visits to Suruceni monastery (15 min) and the Asconi/Vinăria din Vale wineries (20 min).
