Parapanta.md (alongside Trebujeni Paragliding) is one of 2 paragliding operators in the Old Orhei area — the Trebujeni limestone ridge is Moldova's only viable free-flight site, with predictable thermal wind in May–October months. Tandem intro flights — 15–20 min with licensed instructor, launch from the ridge above the Răut canyon, drift over Butuceni village with views of the cave monastery and the gorge, landing in the field next to the pension. Equipment included (tandem paraglider, harnesses, helmet). Operates only weekends when weather permits — check Facebook for announcements. Limitations — flights only if wind is 12–25 km/h with no rain — many days are cancelled. The best outdoor adrenaline in Moldova.
