Tipova Viewpoint
Free clifftop viewpoint over the Dniester bend at Țipova · 1h walk down to the waterfalls
Sit on the ridge for the 180° Dniester-bend panorama, then follow the yellow-and-green sign down the marked 1-hour trail to the waterfalls
Worth it if you want a wide view over the Dniester bend from the ridge, free of charge, with the option to descend the marked trail of about an hour toward the falls.
Tipova Viewpoint is the open ridge above the Dniester gorge, right where the river makes its wide bend between Țipova and the village on the opposite bank. The yellow-and-green signpost 'SPRE CASCADE / К ВОДОПАДАМ / TO THE WATERFALLS' marks the start of the 1-hour trail down to the Țipova waterfalls through forest and rock. The view from here takes in the Dniester valley at 180° — placid water, willows on the banks, the red-roofed village on the opposite slope, blue hills on the horizon. There are no facilities — just grass, the signpost and the panorama. The perfect short stop before or after the Țipova cave monastery.
