Mărcăuți Paragliding is one of Moldova's most dramatic paragliding sites — a 250 m launch hill above the Dniester in Mărcăuți village (Dubăsari district, Transnistria), with panoramic view over the river meander and the forest on the opposite bank. Strong thermal and dynamic wind, excellent conditions for long flights (30-90 min for advanced pilots, 10-15 min for tandems with tourists). Favourite spot of Moldovan and Ukrainian pilots due to higher altitude and stable thermals. Qualified instructors offer tandem flights and solo training. Access: 90 min by car from Chișinău (administrative border crossing into Transnistria — ID/passport required).
